Getting a new computer. Some kind pointers/advise if possible

I am intending to change a new computer. My main usage will be surfing net, watch movies, doing work and the most playing dota 2.

I have selected some items to build my PC.

Asus B250M- Plus + I57500 (the main bomb $$$)
Asus expedition GTX1050Ti OC 4GB (graphic card budget around 250)
Corsair vengeance LPX 2400 ($110)
Seagate 1TB 7200 ($70)
CM 550W (from old computer)
Corsair Carbide Spec-03 ($95) [ Should I change to tecware F3 @ $45]

Please advise if this build is worth it (ex. is any parts being an overkill or under-utilized) so that I can save some cost. the current build is around 960sgd.

you could actually use the integrated gpu to play dota

anyway, you can get a zotac 1060 3gb with 5years warranty for $250 now in qoo10 with the $50 cart discount coupon.

For HDD, i would recommend you to get WD blue which should be around the same price as failure rate is lesser than seagate. $75 in qoo10, you can grab $10 off $50 in live10 app to make it $65.
You can consider buying both parts from video-pro making your life easy for collection

Further discount can be gotten with qpoints(if you have) and giftcards(at your own risk)

If you only intend to play dota 2 and not doing any sort of work that rely on multiple cores and threads like video encoding and graphics design work a G4560 + gtx 1050 is good enough. The rest looks fine.

A h110 motherboard will cut your cost and function the same.

Then change to value ram instead of the vengeance. 1 stick of 8gb will do for now.

Tecware f3 is cheap, but it's a bit hard to squeeze the cable. Do take note of that will do.

actually for those bros playing on HD ready tv, 32 inch
they are on 720p max resolution
this card suits them
