Noob here looking around for the past few days to DIY a gaming computer (mainly for dota2/csgo/bf4). Will be sourcing for most parts online, but after reading some reviews, I would be bringing over to PCthemes to build it as I dont want to mess it up =:p
Budget is around $1,000-$1,200+ (excluding extras)

Need some pros to advise if the below build is okay or what needs to be changed or better build to get more value for money. TIA!

CPU: Intel core I5 4460
MB: GA-Z97X-Gaming 3
RAM: Kingston 8GB
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB - GV-N960G1 GAMING-2GD
SSD: Samsung SSD 500 GB
HDD: Western Digital Blue 2TB
PSU: Super Flower Leadex Silver 500W 80 Plus Silver *
CASE: *not yet confirmed but dont mind spending more to get a better case with top/side fan for good ventilation

Extras-
PSU fan: CM H212
Monitor: *need recommendations for 23" budget about $200 . Should be heading down to Sitex this weekend to get it.
Wifi card: *need recommendations
Bottom fan: Any 120mm fan will do?

Questions:
Is the PSU voltage sufficient for this build?
Can I get a wifi card for the MB so i can go wireless for my desktop?
Im using Singtel 200M service with about 8-10 device connected to it. Used mainly for youtube, light internet surfing. Any recommendations for a good router?

And ur motherboard also wrong , ur cpu is not overclock enable, so z series board doesn't do any effect . U should be getting h81 or B85 board instead and cheaper too

For fps game doesn't performance much diff vs hdd, for mmo maybe load abit faster . But u sacrifice as lower gfx for bigger ssd I think is not worth it esp u are gaming

The game loading will faster maybe 1-2 sec, but if gtx960 vs 970 is alot of fps diff ( fps meaning u will lag in the game if too little) . U chose

I got half my games in SSD and half in WD Blue 7200rpm drive. The speed difference is very marginal. The only noticeable difference I found is Battlefield 4 (40 sec vs 1.5 min). The rest of the games I tested really not much faster, at most save a couple of seconds in between rounds. So put BF4 in SSD and everything else in HDD

If you are coming from a HDD drive that has the OS in it, it may be slow for you previously because the PC has to load the game and run the OS together. But now if you put the OS on SSD and HDD dedicated to games, the loading will be much faster.

Definitely spend more on a 970 instead. The performance gain vs a 960 is massive.
