Getting a new PC

Hi guys , i wish to get a new PC . My friend told me to come this forum as there are a lot of recommendation. My budget is around 2.8k to 3k. Able to play latest game with the highest setting. Need a wifi card as Ethernet is not possible and any gaming monitor( around 20+inch will do ) to recommend? After getting the parts , is there any place i could go for them to set up for me as i don't know how to make a PC.

Need wifi card
Monitor ( around 20+inch for gaming )
Hard disk prefer 1TB

TP does it but isnt recommended. May kope things here and there. Buy le with discount after bargaining den bring to #02-32 and ask nigel to help u assemble with some kopi money.

i7 is more for rendering, video editting, etc. For gaming only, i5 is more than enough.

Take it to Nigel shop and let him help you assemble for a small fee.

Alright, this is where you need to know.

There is no difference in between an i5 or an i7.

- Still a Quad Core CPU. An i7 has hyperthreading where i5 does not have.

In terms of gaming, games nowadays depends more on GPU power. CPU is secondary.

Many games do not require more than 4 cores to run. Some even 2 cores is more than enough. They also do not make use of Hyperthreading. (Although there are only a few games that requires hyperthreading to boost performance, but it is very negligible)

People always go to IT shows and stuffs, people will always ask a sales promoter that they want a gaming desktop etc. And always till date promoter always push an i7. Which misleads people that gaming need an i7. i5 becomes like a taboo for games -_-///

In gaming as mentioned before, the real horsepower comes from the GPU itself.
