getting a SSD

Do you mind not having local warranty? The Crucial MX100 256GB should be good. Getting from Amazon would be slightly cheaper though.

If getting MX100 256 gb, get locally sua... Its at $165 sgd vs $14x from amazon. Local prices quite gd le.

Anything i should be aware of ssd? like the write cycle limit and warranties?

Some brands warranty ends when the media wear counter reach 0 or certain write amount like 37TB. Most consumers will not reach the limit during the warranty period.

My Intel 530 retail box ssd warranty do not check for media wear or write amount.

Ic. does less volume = less write amount? or its according to usage?
