U need to tell us the model u intend to buy. Byd so many models, all with varying batteries and charge speeds.

Also, have u considered and compared other car brands prior?

Take the battery size in KW, multiply by 70c, that’s for a full charge. Add about 10-15% for DC to AC conversion power loss.

Charging speed depends on AC or DC. On AC 7.4kw, I need about 11.5 hours from 9% to 100% on a. 82kw battery. On AC22kw, at 11kw, it would take 7 hours. DC will be about an hour.

Generally speaking -

DC charges faster than AC.

DC is more expensive per kWh.

DC generates more heat and higher electrical stress than AC slow charging, which can accelerate lithium-ion battery degradation, but the degradation is likely not going to be significant in modern batteries, and esp the 10 year COE period in sg context.

Here is a map but easier to see on a web browser.

https://www.charge.sg/

It is usually more convenient to charge near / at your residence and workplace so you do not need to go out of the way. Apart from charging costs, carpark costs apply.

If buying seal, take note of the model. Performace model road tax is very high. They dare to give 10yrs warranty coz very little ppl can hit 200k km mileage in 10yrs. Normally battery degrade badly or have issue is after 200k km mileage.
