Is getting CPU coolers on taobao safe? cause i wanted to get this cpu cooler https://www.deepcool.com/products/C...mium-CPU-Air-Cooler-1700-AM5/2023/17399.shtml but checked on shopee was selling for $200.but went to check on taobao and the price is about $100plus.

my thermalright dual tower from taobao has been doing an excellent job of cooling my quad core.

ive not really come across counterfeit pc parts from taobao, so as long as the seller has a few diamonds or crowns i would say it is safe.

got my thermalright FC140 from taobao, though I kinda wish I got FS140

very safe as long as you stick to official sellers aka those 官方店 or 旗舰店

also take note of sold amount and user reviews

Yeah gotten my fs140 SE from thermal right flagship store.. regret not getting the phantom spirit 120 se instead.

Air cooler is usually quite ok. Generally, the main point of failure are the fans, which you can replace. And in my experience, even very cheap PC fans can be quite lasting. I have a brandless PC fan that I installed in the toilet to suck moist air out, and it’s been running 24/7 for I think 3 years now.
