Getting Facetime failed

anyone having this issue?
Apple forums now flooded with users unable to use facetime since 16Apr.

Mine is not working.
It will connect, then will say "Facetime Failed".
This is iOS6 to iOS7 facetime and vice-versa.

It appears to be an iOS 6 issue? If you don't intend to/cannot update, I suppose you'll just have to wait it out.

I use Facetime all the time. iPhones to iPads to Macbook Air and iMAC, all no issues. Have to say all the OS are using latest version.
