My 6-year GTX670 just died while using premiere pro. Would like to ask which is the best nVidia GPU to buy at this time with the following requirements.

My budget is between $300-$499. My usage is video editing, 3D rendering, occasionally gaming, need not at max settings. I am looking at GTX1070, but hoping to get more insight. It is also advisable to get used GPU? I was checking out used ones, looks like $100-$200 cheaper. Haven't been in the GFX scene in a long time, so seeking some assistance.

Edit: Could also advise on some of the good places to buy GFX if new, and which brands are recommended as well. TIA.

The best value for performance for dollar Nvidia card would be an "Zotac RTX 2060 mini twin fan 6gb" sgd $518.00 (dynacore/techdeal$)
And just in case you wonder about AMD's alternative :
PowerColor RX Vega 56 8gb Red Devil Edition sgd $458.00 (Dynacore)
*these are the lowest priced cards listed on the price lists for SLS.

Lot of 2nd hand 1070 are from mining rigs from last 2 year craze of mining. Although it does not effect performance but due to them running 24/7 on almost full load there is a danger of some components getting damaged.

RTX 2060 is a good choice

If don't want to spend too much, Zotac GTX 1660 or GTX 1660TI for dollar to performance and 5 years warranty.
