GFX upgrade for gaming

Friend is getting 50fps at low settings for game overwatch.

Spec are
i5-4670
GPU GTX760
Monitor size 23inch

Is GTX 960 overkill for smooth gaming at high setting? Thanks

I'm using GTX760 and it is ok. Did your friend turn on V-sync?

I feel for the price difference at the moment, you are better off sticking on to your GTX 760. I feel the performance improvement is not significant enough to make the jump.
