Ghibli Museum Tickets

Hi everyone,

Anyone in Japan now can help to get a pair of tickets to the Ghibli Museum for me?

I understand it is really difficult to get the tix unless we get it in advance. And it gets sold out in 1-2 weeks before visiting day, or even earlier.

I have a way to help you get but the price is more expensive. The guy charged me 2000 yen per ticket inclusive of his handling fee. PM me if you want to find out more.

Just checked. Its only 1000 JPY for adult tix but the lawsons ticketing site under maintenance now.

They start selling tix on the 10th of previous month. Not sure if its too late for mid April tix since its already way past the 10th of March.

I probably can pop by a Lawson's to buy but may have to work out how to pass the tix. I stay in central Tokyo tho.

Another alternative is to try JTB Singapore. A friend got her tickets via JTB when it was sold out at other places.

Not really. Most of the exhibits are visual and even the short film on preview is in jap with no english subtitles.

I think it is best to at least secure a deposit for the ticket amt before committing to the purchase online, just in case. Well, just my 2 cents worth!

I have used above service before. They send the tix to my hotel in Okinawa, before my flight to Tokyo.

Give them a few choices of dates and timing, and they will try to book according to your preferred dates/timing.
