gigabyte and msi

As per title which graphic card will be better in terms of quality n durability ?
I'm looking at the gtx750 both at 200 dollars. Any idea which to get ?
Already built my rig weeks ago but didn't get graphics at that time

If gtx 750 just get Zotac 750ti. Performs better than 750 and priced at $207 iirc.

Cheap does not mean lousy.

There are some reasons why they are cheap.

- not well known brand
- Different technology of coolers used
- Some offers quite close to stock ref card speed
- some bundle games while the others do not
- warranty period

Similarities
- they all use the same chip. A gtx780 is a gtx780. How the coy want to max the performance of it is up to their design pcb, cooler, bios config that makes the card perform slightly better or even better.

Asus is the most solid of all brands I bought so far but the OC capability just not there

zotac has a 2 years local and 3 years zotac warranty fyi

Conversely most of the ASUS cards reviewed are considered to have the most overclocking headroom due to their great cooling.

from personal experience the silicon lottery is very big. Unless you buy the ROG series (Striker, Poseidon, Matrix) which are binned, the normal DC2 really depend on your luck. my DC2OC GTX 780 could only do 2.8k Valley @ 1094mhz max

Actually I think is more of a heng suay kind of thing ba. Not say cause is Asus won't spoil so easily as compared to sapphire or Msi. Unless you are talking about the fake sapphire cards

I agree with that. I mean build and heft. If u go hold asus card u will know what i mean. The screws they all factory machine tightened until its a ******* to open but its very stable no creaking

So if msi or giga use manual labour to tighten screws, mean not even worth buying at all ah? Even if it is tight enough for the cooler not to fall off?

Yepp I know that Asus cards are very well built, but still if the pcb overheat or spoil, there still nothing you can do ma, cause the material they use to build the pcb is the same as all other brands.

Hmm ok.because my friend has a Palit and it breaks down in 2 years. Other brand no problem at all

Regardless of brand, this is my feel of the general build quality in a fair comparison. Just like how when you buy a car, the gap between panels or how the door shuts with some heft feels good. Likewise, it's the case here with Asus cards where there is no give or creak in the cooler or backplate.

I am however disappointed by the way that they overclock in so far
