Gigabyte Aorus 1080Ti engine software issues

Hi guys, would like to check anyone is using this card currently installed with the "tuner" of the software where it can be adjust the RGB Light. There seems to be a problem with the software that caused the system to reboot. Anyone with this issues?

Thought of replacing the software with MSI tuner instead. TIA.

The Aorus Graphics Engine is a POS. It has too much CPU Usage during idle and during gaming it will simply stutter.

Uninstall the POS and use MSI Afterburner instead. If you have to adjust the RGB light, then I am not sure if you can set it then uninstall it. But it is really a performance hog.

Try and see if that solves your problem. Are you overclocked on your CPU and/or GPU?

Yours will not keep the lighting settings in Hardware memory? I too just use my Zotac software to customize the lighting and just delete away the software. I have no reason to overclock the GPU anyway and let its auto boost do its job. But like you say, can just use MSI Afterburner to OC if need be.

You can start to see if the lighting will save into memory by disabling any kind of Gigabyte software from starting the moment you turn on your computer. Actually, that too can solve your crashing issue since the software will not be running unnecessarily when it has no need to.
