Ck khoo? he's an awesome gynae full of positive vibes! my 2nd and 3rd kid were both delivered by him via csec.

Yes CK.Khoo! May I know roughly how much does it cost for him to delivery via csec? Provided it's single bedded?

He can deliver for you as long as you choose either A1 or B1...

Hello Bros and Sis!

I have an impt question to ask.
Wife is in KK private.
We chose a date to deliver already.
Question is. Our babies might come out earlier.

Now. If they plan to come out earlier, as a result I have to go to hospital and do emergency natural/c Sect, will the cost be the same as my planned delivery date?

Or it will be more expensive? During office hrs/after office hrs/weekends/public holiday

If any of you can shed some light on this will be good!

My wife gave birth at KKH private in Jun 2018, we chose to induce as gynae was going on leave on the actual EDD (our baby came out about 5 days earlier).

I think KKH pricing is quite transparent, if it's natural birth its 5k+, if c-sec is 8k+. Dont think there is emergency c sec pricing unlike other hospitals.

As for whether its more expensive whether its public holiday or at night, i think no difference la, only differs if you choose A or B ward.

We took A ward, 2 night stay, natural birth, 2 dose of epidural, bill came up to 5.5k, of which 2k+ was in cash and the rest medisave.

The midwives and gynae were all very good and we had a pleasant experience as first time parents. would recommend!

Hi smeagoly!

Thank you for sharing. Yeah we are with KK private.
Just that had a planned c sect. But we also want to see if we can hold on to the babies inside as long as possible and when they are about to pop, then we head down to hospital for c sect.
Just have this concern about the price. But thank you for your info. Quite reassuring.

May I know whose your gynae? Haha.

My wife went with Dr Felicia Chin, she's also an oncologist who treated my mother-in-law previously, so my wife wanted her to deliver our baby. Heard she went for further studies for a year though, might not be in KKH for the time being.

Just go to 2nd floor delivery suite that day.
Price should be the same. They will explain the k price to you and you need to pay on the spot the minimum expenses.

For KKH, Class A or Class B is better ? Am a private patient and my wife's EDD is on Dec 2019 or Jan 2020. KKH website did state both room's facilities and equipment. But how about the stay ?
