Is it time for us to go to ICA to register a change of IC? This will trigger a change of issue date.

The more worrying thing is that scammers may use your personal information to trigger change of address or phone number of bank accounts. For some banks, such information can be changed by submitting a physical form.

For your hp, your device stores it locally in a secure storage inside the chip. But for govt one they would store in their db.

Cvv is random. Issue date is guessable. The risk is very different.

Siao boh. You know i tried the facial recognition before for set up new device or reset password. Totally CMI one especially for those who aged.

Cuz your IC photo may not be up to date. People old liao or sick liao their facial skin changes also.

Totally a waste of time unless they do yearly scan of face recording into system

I am sure some of us may have sent a soft copy of IC for verification.
