I’m saying every frickin country does it. US probably does it better than most cos they have the best technology. Years back there was a scandal about the US tapping calls of German Chancellery for decades.

Nobody practices communism anymore. China is however ruled by a totalitarian regime. Before its rise I remember we’re also the target of western media and politicians because we didn’t fit into their worldview but became successful nonetheless. We didn’t get anything beyond our knuckles rapped because we were inconsequential.

Even politics aside, the US will not tolerate the rise of any emerging power that threatens its supremacy. Japanese in the 90s was whacked for its trade surpluses. But dumb unthinking you protested against “CCP” without even the slightest understanding of geopolitics.

So you are saying CCP is actually CDP? Or you are supportive of totalitarian govts as well?

Whichever president that made policies in US, their people voted for it. Whichever policies passed in Congress, those elected representatives are voted in.

Same for many other countries that chose to work with US or not. Their people voted for their govts.

these chinese companies always over-leverage on finances huan. Need to continue to expand in order to keep afloat. If the expansion plan kena halted, will be darn jialat.
But given the current situation, CCP will not allow Huawei to go bust for ANY reason. If go bust will lose face and cause domino effect.
