I always think people who like glossy screen are people who very hard-working :s13:

as glossy screen need to maintain very frequently since it's basically a fingers prints/smuge/oil magnet, use to own AOC glossy screen until very lazy to clean and maintain so sell it off.

I like glossy screen because colors produced generally looks better. But on the flipside, reflection and it being a fingerprint magnet can be quite annoying. I also feel that scratches becomes more visible with glossy screen.

Ya love glossy monitors. Colors are fantastic. Unfortunately nowadays glossy is out of trend.

And what you see as glossy is not full glossy like used to have. It's semi-gloss.

Used to own Samsung full glossy monitor more than 10 years ago. Absolutely fantastic colors.

Every monitor I had before this present Z35 has been glossy. No problem with fingerprints etc since there is absolutely no reason to touch the screen except when cleaning. :s11:

I did buy a Dell Ultrasharp which had a matt screen. Used for one day, absolutely hated it and gave to wife.

Finally bought the Z35 which is semi-glossy. Had to calibrate like crazy before the colors came close to my previous monitor, the Acer F22, which had absolutely beautiful colors. The F22 did reflect like crazy though but got used to it so didn't really notice.
