I'll be taking GMAT exam. Any advise on whether to self-study (which text to buy) or attend courses conducted by private institutions? Sourcing around the latter seems ex as it can go up to >$1k.

Also, is it true that you will not be given papers in the exam nor are calculators allowed?

Would appreciate your advise. Tks!
