Go overseas during ICT weekend?

I got a high key reservist upcoming. My reservist will only be in weekdays, so that ict weekend is expected to be free.

Am I allowed to go overseas (Malaysia) for a day trip on the weekend?

Technically - Don't get caught, especially by getting into trouble while at the other side of the border

If you are under MOB conditions, you are supposed to be in Singapore. Unless you are already overseas and have informed your unit in advance.

ICT conditions, obviously the same. You can be recalled back to unit early.

I've gone to NSMen's homes to check why they haven't responded to the MOB activation and stuck in JB trying to come back is not a sufficient excuse.

You have to inform your unit. During ICT you are considered as active personnel. If your unit does not allow and your records exiting SG is found you will be charged.

No, you can't. Somehow, the IT systems at the ICA customs checkpoint and MINDEF are linked.

I knew someone who did this and actually got caught. He was called and said that they found him travelling overseas during an ICT.
