Melbourne (and Sydney) are more interesting with cafes, culture, things to see/eat/try/visit, etc..

Perth is a bit cheaper to get there but stuff isn't cheap, and there's not as much to do.... but on the plus side, it'll be a bigger escape from city life in Singapore.

Every time thought of going - someone including travel agents will say here's not much there

Perth city is ultra boring. But if you do a self drive to Margaret river and further it will be decent fun along the way.


Melbourne will have both city attractions and out city attractions like great ocean road. Yarra Valley etc.
