Hi would like to get a new ITX system(as budget as possible) as my 4yr+ PC is failing me every other day.

All is gathered from tradepac/PCtheme:

Mobo + CPU: MSI H81i + I3-4130/4340 or 15-4440(I3 bundle:$263/$309 and I5 bundle:$349)

RAM:G.skill value ram 4GB 1600 ddr3 X 2 : $98

Casing: Jonsbo V3+: $79

PSU:TT smart SE 530W 87% Modular : $70

HDD: 1TB : $70

GFX: Unknown

Total: I3-system: $580/$626 , I5-system:$666

This is my basic setup that i gather from the pricelist do i get better discount at PCtheme or Tradepac?

And any recommendations for value GFX that is better than 9600GT?

Thanks guys been some time since i do this really appreciate all the help :)

Hi, thanks for all the reply but forget to mention that this will be my main PC. I would like to play newer game when possible but theres no need to have MAX faps or on Ultra settings . :o

So i cant decide on Getting a I3 or I5 not looking at anything lower than that.( I dont mind older gens like sandy or ivy bridge)

I was looking at the ATI 7790 for mid range game support. (Needs to have card <190mm because of the casing)

Anyway i was quoted this:

jonsbo v3
Corsair CX430M PSU
MSI h81i
I5-4570
G.skill 4gb X 2

total ~590(490 for I3-4130)

not from simlim btw. Is this actually a good deal? Thanks and sorry for late reply :)

Hi, sorry to keep troubling you. But isnt 7790 slightly better than a gtx650? For the size 7790 matches my requirement of <190mm however if i need it to be bigger i can opt for a Jonsbo V4 case as well.

May i know the reason for choosing superflower hx 500? Cause for the similiar price range i could get a Corsair cx430M modular or a thermaltake 500W 87% modular PSU.

Lastly would it makee alot of differences if i choose an I5 over an I3 ? Considering im using C2D E6600

Since i havnt seen the actual V3 or V4 yet, whats the current MATX board right now?

In the event of me picking a V4 case which has more playroom for size. :o

The 650ti boost is similar to 7850...proper mid range card

No point get a i5 but use a 7790...gaming wise better gpu will give u better frame rates

i3 is still a very good proc for normal usage and gaming..unless u doing other stuff that require quad core then go ahead..but with ur budget I think i3 is better

The Superflower hx 500 is a 500w 80+ gold semi modular power supply , much better then those 2 others u wan, and perhaps cost $10-15 more only..

wow thats really small and compact :eek:

If i were you, i would actually drop 4GB of RAM for a GTX 650 Ti Boost which still fits within the 300W PSU envelope but can be quite a tight fit and uncomfortable for some.
