Hi,
Would like to know when is the best time to go Taiwan (aka as much sunny days as possible). Would March be an ideal time?
Am thinking of planning a short solo trip to around Taipei area just for food and shopping, and probably a bit of sightseeing. I have already been to Taiwan this year during the Oct-Nov period and although it didn't rain for a good 6 days (we were cabbing from one town to another), it was pouring like crazy on the last 2 days in xmd, and it was rather inconvenient.
There would probably be some sightseeing involved, although not extensively like the last trip (we went Hualien, Taroko Gorge etc.). When I was on my last trip, too much time was spent exploring the East side of Taiwan, and not much time was spent on shopping. I only managed to explore some shopping areas, and even so, there was nothing much to get because most shops were selling winter apparels.
