Anyone has any experience with their iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S in US? Will we be able to get 3,5G or 4G speed?

I am keen to know if we can buy a pre-paid SIM Card to call and mobile broadband at the same time.

So US have a few LTE bands.

LTE-700,LTE-850, LTE-1900, LTE-2100.

Our Singapore iphone have

1 (2100 MHz)
2 (1900 MHz)
3 (1800 MHz)
5 (850 MHz)
7 (2600 MHz)
8 (900 MHz)
20 (800 DD)
38 (TD 2600)
39 (TD 1900)
40 (TD 2300)

Which means it will support :)

Thanks for the info... Let see if I can get a good SIM card after arriving there. Still remember last time, only EVDO available and pre-paid SIM is not readily available years ago.

AT&T GoPhone for $60 you get unlimited talk and texts (including international) + 2GB 4G/LTE data. If you use up your 2GB, you can purchase additional 1GB data blocks for $10.

Actually the better deal is tmobile 3 bucks daily prepaid. Unlimited talk and sms and 4G data up to 200mb(meaning 6gb per month).

How about data only prepaid? Any recommendation?

Thinking of keeping my Singtel SIM in the iPhone and put a US data SIM into iPad3 - not sure if personal hotspot is enabled on these prepaid plans?

Will be landing in JFK and layover for a couple of hours before transit to Orlando - seems that there's an AT&T retail outlet at JFK T4, hope they are able to process such services for non-US visitors.
