Old thread here: https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/gold-3200-by-april-2025.7103761/

New target: Gold is expected to drop to around $3000 till June 2025 and then resume the rally to $3800 after that.
Fuel for the rally: FOMC forced to resume rate cuts by late Q3 2025 onwards.

$3800 is a modest increase from the $3500 most recent peak.
Silver may go to $40, roughly the same amount as gold in %.

Never before has debt interest payments exceed the defence budget in the history of US.
(this happened beginning in 2024 and is continuing through 2025).

I know that the USD-stablecoin in one of the plans for expanding US Treasury bonds demand. These stablecoin issuers need to buy UST as reserve.
Hearsay its a form of QE also.

something like
$1 goes into UST = $1 US Treasury + $1 UST in circulation

might be slow news but there's news on Basel III implementing changes to US banks to allow them to use gold for their core capital reserves and also a US company setting up infrastructure in SG to challenge the gold market in London, and US in order to cater to the needs of the Asia (excluding China) market

seems pretty positive news on driving the gold demand up
