Good beginner camera?

I’ve been meaning to get into photography but dont know where to start looking for cameras for beginners?

Look into your budget and work from there. Get a basic setup, learn along the way until you hit limits and upgrade from there. The latest models offer the newest bells and whistles but they are probably unnecessary from beginner pov.

DSLR vs Mirrorless cameras. Mirrorless is more compact, and is the future moving forward so you probably do not want to get (used) dslrs although they do offer incredible value. Used gears that are one or two generations earlier can be great bargain but with the downside of breakdowns.

Sensor sizes :
In general, larger full frame sensor cameras offer technical improvements over smaller cropped sensors but that does not translate exactly into real world mind blowing differences in image quality, so if budget is a concern, apsc size cameras are ok too. Composition and processing has a far greater impact.

Decide what genre of photography that you want to get into and then research on the equipment needed.
I have colleagues who want to achieve something that they camera with kit lens unfortunately cannot.
In the end give up.

I'll highly recommend to get Fujifilm APSC camera if don't like to edit raw photos and Lumix MFT camera if want to learn the standard process of photography using raw.

FYI Lumix raw files can be edited using Adobe Lightroom iOS/Android for free without paid subscription.

i think another factor to consider is also how heavy the camera is going to be, it's important to encourage more usage of the camera as you start out and a lighter camera is definitely more appealing to bring out compared to a heavier one!

most people, including myself... will not have time to edit at all....

fujifilm easy, and of cos smartphones....
