Good cloning software for hard drive?

I recently just got a new hard drive of bigger storage (3 TB), and would need to clone my old hard drive (1 TB). Any suggestions on good cloning softwares? Preferably free..

Seagate, WD have free Acronis software where you can clone the drive.
Other brands like HGST not sure.

My old drive is a Toshiba and the new one is a Seagate.. Can I still use this? Where do I download it from?

Seagate website, take note you need at least one SEAGATE HDD than can run the software to clone from another HDD.
If there is no Seagate HDD detected the software won't run.
