Good guides for building web apps???

Hi,

I wonder if anyone here knows any good resource for learning how to build web apps?

I am a complete newbie, the last time i done webpage was in the 2000s, still html, javascript and php only....

Now i am a embedded programmer, but i am thinking of branching out to webapps such as erp systems, jsnode, jquery...

Of course if i googled there would be a ton of information, but if anyone knows any good resource i would appreciate it if you can share.

ERP systems can be written in any program..

You can try going thru the c# mvc.net tutorials...
And Vaadin , which is based on the Google Widget Toolkit (GWT) .
I've tried both, mvc.net is more low level, vaadin is like programming in Java,
The javascript and HTML is generated for you.
