Hi guys,

I'm new and i'm trying to build a gaming desktop for the first time.
This includes screen, keyboard and maybe a headset/new mouse.
My budget is about 1.6 - 1.7k
The games that I want to play with it are : NBA, Monster Hunter World (when release), PUBG, Overwatch, Terraria, Skyrim, Witcher, (maybe darksouls), For Honor, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate ninja storm 4, One Piece burning blood, occasional dota, GTA and hearthstone.
But i'll be buying more games soon so I want to play the games at a good quality and not like my current laptop which only can run PUBG at 35fps and settings on low.
Please suggest some good builds within my budget, which includes screen and keyboard. (I dont know if screen and keyboard matters much or not but please include some if you have any ideas. THANKS!!!

I am sorry to disappoint you but currently, the DIY PC building has hit some snag.

Due to Cryptocurrency popularity, the miners are buying the GPUs at insane prices. With low stocks not meeting the high demand, the prices are ever on the rise. Getting a GPU to fit your budget and play the demanding games you've mentioned is almost impossible

Next is DDR4 prices but we got used to the high prices. It is ever increasing.

Combined this two factors, it is going to be very difficult to build a system together.

Either you go down SLS and scout for a GPU that is reasonably priced or get a Pre-built system from places like Aftershock/Acer/Dell which are largely unaffected by crypto.

Not an issue

SLS is becoming a supplier centre. If you always choose based on price you get the same loyalty from the shops as you gave to them.
You won't know what is in stock unless you know the shop coz they won't know if you are gonna swipe their entire stock of Graphic card

Assuming a budget of 1.7K
HEadset keyboard and mouse takes up $200
Left 1.5
Monitor around $200
Left 1.3

1.3 Can get you an
I3-8100 system,
16gb Ram,
240-256gb SSD,
GTX1050TI4GB
Void + 500w PSU
Anything else is a bonus. Just use that as a reference UNLESS 1050TI increase price to 279

or choose 8gb and get the 1060 3gb

There is SLS, Carousell, Lazada

What is more important is to get your system fast and not dilly dally.
If you want to save money and try to do research from as many sources as possible, thinking you will get the best value for your money, THINK AGAIN
The words " OUT OF STOCK " will be words you will remember

My suggestion, whichever is your source, is to get from whichever entity can provide the graphic card you want without an " ASK " in their offer price
Coz ASK means
No problem, we got stock. Just come!
At shop.
Sorry Bro, All sold out! Can you take this stock ( Higher margin for shop ) at hiher price )

Once weekend comes, got miner thralls swarming SLS coz no work...

All
B250 + G4560 + 4gb or 8gb ram
AS MANY 10606gb AS YOU HAVE
1070 1070TI...ETC

currently can just forget about it.....
better to go on carousell and find those 2nd hand rigs
gfx cards and rams are at a all time high and wont be dropping anytime soon

if you are desperate you could consider 9 series gfx cards first

how much has ddr4 ram prices increased over the past year or so?
Value ones almost 1 fold. My Trident Z RGB 3600MHz back then only $278 (I think) after shipping from Newegg. Now the same thing around $395.

8gb value ram used to be $79-$82. Now $139 on pc theme price list.

Your requirements here sound like your going to need a Ryzen 7 3700X with a RTX 2060 Super at the minimum and like the other guys said, the budget isn't enough.

If you are able to up the budget I'm sure there will be plenty of recommendations people can suggest here.
