Good private uni for acc

Hi guys. asking on behalf of my friend. anyone of you knows what are some of the better (in terms of reputation) private unis for acc or marketing?

Heard RMIT is quite good. Not sure about Kaplan.

Look for uni that is recognised by ISCA if u want to do accounting in sg. Good in what? If u wish to gain solid tech accctg knoeledge there is no short cut. Clearing chartered exam is the preferred option and highly regarded by most qualified accountant.

Kaplan has acca. Affiliated with acca and fast.

If your target is big 4 then the chances are a bit harder. Tiagong they take in local uni as interns first.

Possibly might take in UOl with second upper or rmit with distinction with experience in other places first.

ACCA

ACCA is good. There are a lot of schools offering ACCA lectures. You can just self-learn paper 1-3 easily. If you desire a Uni life and cannot get into the locals, go for UOL -> RMIT -> Murdoch (due to the AUS CPA thingy can be converted to SG CPA by doing some course). Of course the recommendation is based on difficulty also.

I'm a prospective accounting student here as well, was wondering should I skip degree and go for ACCA studies straight?
