Good TCM to recommend?

Not sure if they are good. That's why asking if got any effective based on tried and tested ones
So far the only tried and tested method is to lower elevated insulin, kick start fat burning, turn on ketones utilisation.

You do not have to be in ketosis if you add in medium chain fat and cut down on long chain fats and carbs. With this excess energy from your fat, you can go on IF without experiencing hunger pangs.

Actually not many people know that checking insulin level is not part of the Western Medicine, they are even instructed to use glucose test for diabetes. But can one even expect a real treatment from the big Ps?


I also don't understand why so many people think western medicine is superior when doctors have no answer to many questions. I read about Insulin vs Glucagon, in chinese 胰岛素 & 升糖素, quite interesting. We sinkies really should spend more time to understand our body our health rather than gaming or pcc or cross-dressing.

In china, everyone has his own medical booklet, he has what illness, went thru what treatment, issued what medicine all written in the booklet. So they know what medicine they have been taking in their life, they know what is good to their body.

In sg, this info is kept in the system, we have no access, doc give me what I eat what. Only those who are health conscious will make an effort to track own medication history.

Try this guy, he is one of the good ones who can maintain consistent results. I went to him on my elbow issue, also recommended him to my friend who injured his kneecap due to fall down.

The current version of TCM has been white washed by the big Ps and G, some key and effective remedies have been altered. Similarly for the Western.

Altered is fine so long we can trace back to our bible book 伤寒杂病论, we will know what works in ancient times. But herbs quality has dropped due to mass production, this is another sad story.

TS do you feel tired everyday? It looks like you are already exercising adequate amount, and eating quite healthy.. Could be your body not well rested which results in fatigue, and lowered metabolism.

For meat I'll choose the kind where I can still see the meat, not covered or changed in anyway.. Like:
Ginseng chicken, Lean pork in soy, mince pork, whole fish, sardine, chicken cubes with veggy

Actually got very few choice.. If don't have I'll get egg + 2 veg.

As for fat burning can look into intermittent fasting or keto diet, don't combine these 2.
Generally for healthy people Keto can be combined with IF, Eric Berg has been doing that for many years. I'm on a low carb and doing IF.

Just like low carb, Keto is not extraordinary or will cause mild nutrition because there is no calories restriction, you can eat as much as you like, why people are generally slim when they are on a keto diet is because the body has adapted into burning the fat under the skin and without the spikes in insulin, the aging metabolism reverses itself and they feel more energetic.

Dieticians don't recommend it anyways cause there's no research done on the efficacy. Sounds very torturous to do both for a newbie..

TS tried IF and gave up after a while.. As for myself, also tried for a while, but gave up cause not easy to find suitable food. Hawkers all filled with junk and healthy food is higher than my daily budget unless I homecook.

I'm already on low carb and IF, if I lower my carb a little more, then it will be Keto and IF which I'm already seeing the potential benefits. Even our "experts" are not getting the basics right how sure are you to think that the dieticians are updated in today's world which is under the influence and grips of the big Ps?

There are already quite a sizable group of people here doing Keto and they have given their recommendations more than enough times about how to navigate the food scene.

For me, it is usually because of the time factor. My job requires high energy from early morning on so it is difficult to only start eating at let's say 10am or later. If I eat earlier, then my dinner will need to be earlier at 4 plus. Will definitely feel hungry by 10pm and that's when the snacking will start.

I did try for about 3-4 months and my weight dropped about 3kg but after I stopped, almost all the weight came back.

You seems to have missed the point, you dont need to wait for the pantry, you can keep it at your table, which i did before they provided the free flow. Lolz.

IF don't need to find suitable food, just skip 1 meal can liao. I used to take oats as breakfast, now I skip breakfast, shift oats to evening dinner. Lunch eat as per normal.

Good point on the bulletproof coffee, but my work place don't have the set-up to make good coffee or a place to store the butter/coconut oil. So it's just instant coffee. With the 50% WFH set up it's hard to keep things organised.

Need là.. If eat junk all the time your body will latch on to the fats for energy.. And your bad cholesterol levels will spike.
If you can make instant coffee, get those without sugar then add in EVCO is easy because it comes in a bottle, just pour directly into the coffee cup and stir, and you already have a cup of delicious pure gold antiviral and medium chain fat coffee.
