Not so sure they will refund, maybe change. The shop I mean.....

But what makes it fishy is the fact that they sold you a Vodafone locked model. Our local regulations are that sets sold cannot be locked, and even if it's an export set, they should know that it has to be at the very least work with local telcos aka it should be unlocked.

Did they know where u were from and in a hurry? Next time be more discrete about sharing info about yourself. There's no need to be friendly with retailers. :)

Just wanted to update you on my saga of the locked GN and thank you all for your advices.

To answer your question, KennyBoy, they didn't know I am from Jakarta (I am Singaporean) nor thought that I was in a hurry. Also, I contacted the online unlockers again and they replied that the codes are still not out yet and that my phone's from NTT Docomo Japan, not Vodafone Australia.

So I flew back last Thursday morning and went to the shop @ Burlington. They checked my receipt and SN number, then phoned someone regarding my phone & situation. The salesman then told me they will unlock the phone and asked me to come back in 2 hours.

I came back 2 hours later, this time inserting my local SIM in to test and it's unlocked! Hallelujah!

Later on at home, I was curious enough to check my GN's data and found the the IMEI has changed but SN remains the same.

Bottom line, I am glad all's well but how did they managed to unlocked my GN without the codes and why is there a new IMEI?

IMEI changed? Then it should be something like this....

Anyone else experiences this problem? My nexus keeps on detecting my wall charger as usb charging mode. Then I must unplug my wall charger from the plug then re plug before I can get it to charge on AC. Wonder if it's charger or battery problem. Is a replacement of such claimable under warranty? Cause need to prove that really got problem but it doesn't always occur.

just got my galaxy nexus :D looks and feels solid. think i'll have a lot of fun with this phone

Hihi. Me noob user. Just wan to seek some advice here. how to play flash on Nexus har?? I d/l the flash 11.1 app into Nexus, installed, then run using dophin/google browser, still cannot leh.

Hmm.. I only can use 3 hrs plus when surfing internet on wifi,anyone also suffering the same fate?

sorry, anyone knows if any helloshop has stock for galaxy nexus.

i'm about to re-contract but found out singtelshop.com removed galaxy nexus totally from their catalogue.

or, is it worth the while to buy any phone and sell away then buy a galaxy nexus?

Yeah got Facebook app but sync every 4 hrs. Didn't have a lot applications using background sync,I disabled most of them..
