Mine flashed from yakjuxw to yakju, rooted and on stock rom.
Received the OTA notification on 15/2/2013 thus updated. Surprisingly root access was not removed despite official update??

Try stopping the google framework svcs, clearing cache?

Starhub? They are building up their network as they lease lines from other service providers to they equipments... I've heard. So there may be lots of up and down upgrading...

Did you try to fix it yourself? I remember reading about various fixes on the XDA forums...

Over the last few months, my available free space is only around 1GB or less sometimes, and I've been living with a constant intermittent lag that happens every now and then. For example, when you press power button, you only get a response 3-5seconds later, likewise for pressing home button or other apps like WhatsApp etc.

Didn't really bothered to find a solution and just lived with the problem.. seems like I've been too patient sometimes just waiting 5secs or even more for whatsapp or the powerbutton to respond to me.

Yesterday I finally searched and found a possible solution(requires root):
[APP] LagFix (fstrim) v1.5.1 2013.03.04 | HTC One X > XDA

Finally I freed up some 5-6GB of space (have some nandroids lying around that I didn't housekeep) and also run this tool. The phone is slightly better now feels less sluggish.. AndroBench only shows marginal improvement although usage seems better with less lag now.. Not sure if its due to having more freespace now, or due to using this tool, or both...

Be sure to read the FAQ before using to see if it applies to you, if you have BrickBug then cannot use it:
xda-developers - View Single Post - [APP] LagFix (fstrim) v1.5.1 2013.03.04

Here's also an interesting result from someone (not running Galaxy Nexus though)

[APP] LagFix (fstrim) v1.5.1 2013.03.04 Pg 2 | HTC One X > XDA

I only experienced around 25% improvement for RandomWrite unlike that person who has gotten 110% improvement

anyone else tried this before?

regarding lagfix, I used it daily for the last 2 weeks. before running fstrim, the phone will lag like no tomorrow.not just browsing but usual phone capabilities lagged too. after running the fstrim everything feels like brand new. so ymmv.

my personal take is that matrix is only useful when I run out of storage, like less than 1-2gb. if I have more than 4gb storage available, I do not have to run lagfix at all and my phone will have no lag issues. again ymmv. I never read through the technicals behind fstrim so I do not know what it actually does.

also, on xda the first thread that started on recommending lagfix also recommended EMMCcheck to verify your memory batch. apparently only several batches of gnex are affected, mostly those around Dec2012. so of might just be a bad batch. those who aren't from the batch are recommended not to run matrix, or rather there will be no benefits from running fstrim. lags may come from different sources, and lagfix serves to solve a very specific problem only if your set requires it. you will feel the difference if lagfix works, no need for any synthetic benchmarks to verify that.

Hi. Recently dropped my galaxy nexus and the screen cracked. Was quoted by samsung service center that it costs $225 to replace. Does anyone know where I can get cheaper alternatives?
