From the description, it seems to be a deodexed stock rom with bloatware added :s13: Try those AOSP-based Android 4.0.3 roms instead, they have more mods as source code is much easier to work with.

There's nothing wrong with android revolution. It's pretty much the best 4.0.2 based rom for the gnex. Quick smooth and long lasting battery. Your mileage may vary of course.

However now I'm on AOKP which is 4.0.3.

Prices at hp shops or from those selling on forums will drop below the RRP of $948. Just need to wait for local launch.

Same here :)

Don't have such issues so far.

htimobile selling this for $830..Export set

Yeah and surprisingly it says "*1 year agent warranty set".. No idea what it means, but I like the sound of that.. If it indeed has some kind of warranty, then can go tomorrow to get one.. Price seems to be reasonable now..

Dont think so, this is under the phone...

New!!
S$830
export set

And this is found in their about us info,

*warranty set* refer to local agent set which are contract free.
Unless stated *export set* which has no local warranty, all our phones are 1 year warranty set from Apple, nokia, sony ericsson, samsung,LG or HTC.

Edit: They provide 7 days warranty..This part sounds great..

The price of this song at MobyShop went down to 835 SGD! Wow I like that down trend.. 800 please.. quick quick! :D Hopefully it doesnt start going up again! :D
Ooh that's quite a drop! Maybe when I come back from my overseas trip it'll be below $800 :D
I love the missing space detection, which improves the auto correction. Also can choose from three levels to determine how aggressive the autocorrect is. The larger screen also improves accuracy
Missing space detection sounds really really awesome :D

IMHO, if there is any more export sets by then, they will probably remain at this price while local sets will be just slightly cheaper than Samsung RRP of $948.

I think so too.. After the phone is available locally, the advantage would be a local one year warranty.. The prices always go down steadily, but at least the launch price at these shops should be around 850SGD mark...

Anyway, 830 sounds reasonable with a 7 days warranty.. What do you think Man, should we just go ahead and buy it already! :D

Ya, at least they bother with 7 days..

Looking at this coming weekend..Got no time to head down during weekends..So probably meet one of the buyers for the fruit phone on weekdays night and then go get it on Fri or Sat...Or try to settle everything on a weekday night..

The fruit phone sure helps us that way! I did the same for Nexus One last time! Haha This time though, I am around halfway through the contract since I did an early renew last year.. So, no help from there.. :D Anyway, I might go during the weekday if I get time.. Will update here, if and when I get one..

Unless I am sorely mistaken its the not the micro-sim.. its a normal size sim card according the videos..

In terms of reliability, all these shops are more or less the same.. what you should think about is getting the best price.. Warranty wise non of them give you any warranty since it is an export set.. EXCEPT
Samsung Galaxy Nexus - Singapore Best Cheapest Samsung Galaxy Note Tab 8.9 10.1 S2 iPhone 4S Blackberry HTC Sensation XL Mobile Phone Prices*

This shop gives a 7 day warranty and right now seems to be the cheapest..

moby states 1 year warranty leh :/

Nope..Below quote is from a email conversation i have with them.

Thank you for your interest in Mobyshop, we do not provide 1st 7 days coverage, however rest assured that before purchasing the phone we will let you do a very detailed check to ensure the phone is working should you require any assistance, we will try to source for you the relevant and most cheapest repairs should you require any services.

Product Information
Q: Differences between a local set and an export set?
A: Export mobile phones are sold for the purpose of export sales only. They are compatible with our local mobile networks but they are not approved for use within Singapore. Export sets are sold without warranty and they are often sought after because consumers want to purchase a certain type of model of phone before it is officially launched in the country.

Haha I bought and sold a HTC HD2 for my nexus one last time. That was probably a mistake...

Yeah, normal (mini) SIM.
Sgbest gives an in-shop 1 year warranty I think, but their price right now is way too high...
