Where to buy in Singapore without going through ebay and gmarket

First off, it depends on whether you are using extended batt. Some of the cases may not fit properly if using GNex with extended batt. That said, there's a usual shop at SLS selling casings (back cover) starting from $10.. Cheap and surprisingly can fit a GNex with or without extended batt.

There's another shop at Burlington Sq next to Burger King selling Rock cases for GNex. Better protection and comes with a cheapo sp. If using with extended batt, you may need to use without the batt cover that comes with the extended batt.

I flash my device to the nightly update while milestone is accumulated updates in 1 shot..My guess is nightly builds will be more stables with more changes taking place?

Anyway, for anyone keen to replace the boot animation..

Just received the new redesigned Casemate Tough case! It now fits the sides better and the volume rockers and power buttons can be depressed easily now.

I tried it with the extended battery but the lower part of the hard case doesn't sit so well due to the extra thickness and I can feel the case flexing slightly when I grip the lower part. It also left about half a millimetre gap between the edge of the soft case and the edge of the hard case near the bottom connector area.

But if I take out the extended battery cover, the Tough case will fit nicely. However the Tough case has another problem which is that the aperture for the rear camera + flash is slightly bigger than the standard size. It seems some of the earlier cases had this issue as well. So if I were to use the case by removing the battery cover, there is a gap between the camera unit and the case which will potentially allow dust to enter the inside of the phone easily.

The CaseMate Tough case is a solid case which will fit the Original Galaxy Nexus with the standard battery pack nicely. The best fitting case I have for the extended battery pack is the SGP Ultra Capsule still.

Very happy with Nillkin case with XO Skin. Good fit even with extended battery. Only complain is that hard keys are hard to feel

I'm currently using the Rearth RingKe slim case mettalic color. The fitting is just superb with very little bulk at all. The plugs for the 3.5mm jack and charging port are a welcome. However with the extended batt in use, I removed the back cover of the phone before I achieve a perfect fitting.

How much u paid for the case and where did u buy it from?

So what u're saying is you're using an extended batt without the batt cover on the phone and relying on the Rearth case to hold the batt in place? What extended batt are you using?

Am using the official 2000mAh samsung batt. With the mentioned case, I removed the batt cover in order to get the good fit. Bought the case through eBay. Cost is quite high at usd26.
