very happy eventually get a unit from singtel . Typing under browser . Text candidates are mask off on forum. Reply .. browser problem ? No problem with other apps on text selection candidates
With ics 4.0.3 on my nexus has no problem.the stock keyboard behaved funny under browser.

How to install han pinyin keyboard?

I turn on wifi on phone but nothing happen ( it did not prompt for password ) ,what's wrong?

Install go keyboard from market?

You wasn't prompted for password because a protected wifi network wasn't selected?

It works differently from some other roms e.g. from Samsung that brings up a list of wifi network nearby when you turn on wifi. You need to select your wifi network from the settings page, and key in your password there

You can type with the keyboard in browser but without the predictive suggested words row/list to help.

When you type on any text field on Browser..usually the keyboard will provide a row of suggested words dynamically while characters are entered. The suggested words row is just above the keyboard.

The exception is usually on password/search fields which T9/Suggested text is disabled to allow full custom words be input. On any other text input fields e.g the forum reply dialog box.the keybaord will turn on the dictionary to provide predictive suggested words before you could complete typing the full word.


Further experiment with Galaxy Nexus 4.0.2 . stock keyboard with stock browser/Dolphin browser will give this wrong classification problem.

WIth other 3rd party keyboard apps..no such problem and Google Chrome beta for Android does not face this problem

Just a slight imperfection..

I missed out on the black/silver color of nexus. All the Hello shops only carry the white. They have no idea when will restock. Cant wait to get the phone!
