Swee lah! At least confirms that Samsung helpdesk is totally useless when it comes to new product launches.

anyway based on historical launches, does malaysia always launch the same time as SG? anyone knows?
Nope. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later. In short, wait for actual news is the best.

Wah only M1?
Yeah...otherwise people would suspect all 3 telcos are owned by the same company....why else would people coordinate all 3 company sites to update at the same time just to please ya? :D

Does export set means that of anything wrong cant claim warranty locally?

Yeah. Have to send to HK to claim warranty (I think most of the export sets here are from HK).

I've been thinking... it's really rare that I've had to claim warranty for most of my stuff anywhere. getting more and more tempted to hoot an export set :o

It's Jan tomorrow, u already waited so long, what's another couple of weeks? if u wanted to hoot export set, should have hooted early this month then at least you get a whole month's worth of usage before the value of your export set drops when the local set launches.

I tot shops like whymobile and mobilesquare will always sell non-contract phones cheaper than telco??

Read some news that it would be with a price tag of $938 so my take is mobilesquare prices is likely to maintain once it's out officially just that the set would be local agent set instead of export set.

And around the region of mid $400 for a recontract set using the lowest data plan..

I would roughly put it at around 30-50 cheaper than rrp..
The launch RRP of S2 was 998 apparently.. But took a couple of months to bring the price down to 800+ on these websites like Mobilesquare and mobyshop etc.. Now after about 7 months since launch of S2, now it is still selling for around 700+.. with this track record of S2, I hope the price of G-Nexus is around 850+ once its launched here as well! just hoping!

SGP Case Ultra Capsule

anyone got this case for their Galaxy Nexus, is it designed for our GSM model? Got the Case-Mate barely there but is a little loose, looking for a better case

amoled screens are like that.. white backgrounds kill it. the SGS2 also quite lousy, near the bottom of the pack and the resolution is lower than the nexus somemore.

sgs2 actually much better than nexus in terms of battery life..

maybe the super amoled plus makes a lot different compared to super amoled hd but not plus...

but ok lahz, smaller screen and smaller resolution for sgs2 also...

a bit better la, not much better though. I'm sure the screen has a big reason for the lousier ranking.
