Is there any lag in terms of phone response? Is it as snappy as the S2.

I'm sorry, never physically tried ICS before. Gonna head down to the Singtel shops and see.

Btw, I was looking at the M1's GN prices with contract. Very expensive compared to the S2. But the S2 has way better hardware compared to GN.

So GN owners, does your new shiny GN justifies its price?
Not exactly way better hardware....that HD screen is a big plus. Not counting NFC, LED indicator, larger screen etc etc. And not to mention pure stock ICS of course.

Many people will say their branded models will get ICS as well, but they fail to mention their ICS won't run as stable as what stock ICS does on Nexus, with or without custom roms. :(

1. not gorilla but fortified glass cos gorilla glass cannot curve.. theres some debate saying this glass is tougher than gorilla.. no confirmations yet

Hehe...those debating must be owners of the Nexus. :D The forever never ending inability to accept the fact that their newest purchase isn't the best in ALL areas. :D

It's just a branding, unless one is really clumsy/careless, it's gonna be hard to scratch. But to be safe, nothing a cheapo screen protector can't help to alleviate the fear.

Yes, the screen is indeed inferior. My Galaxy Nexus just had a scratch on the screen. My HTC Desire never had a scratch despite dropping numerous number of times. Disappointing I must say.

the response is same as S2 to me.. for me screen looks same to me as S2 screen also.. this phone is not as wide as S2 so makes it easier to grip for small hands like mine, but it is a little taller than S2. I like the power button, doesnt feel loose like the RAZR and HTC and v nice to press

You do realise it's physically not possible for Nexus (68mm) to slimmer than S2 (66mm) right? =:p

Probably placebo effect :D

Download both GApps and Milestone 3 - Maguro on the same download page & place them on ur internal memory..

- Shutdown device and startup into recovery mode
- Perform a Nandroid backup first(In case things goes wrong)
- Using CWM, wipe data/factory reset in recovery
- Flash in Milestone 3 ROM
- Flash in GApps
- Reboot
- Profit

i dont think this glass is tougher than gorilla. some people overseas already cracked it when they dropped it. but the oleophobic coating is definitely weaker than the rest because people have complained that they see very minor scratches on the screen, but it's not the glass scratch so must be the coating.

your scratch is on the glass or coating? if glass means its quite deep and can feel with yr fingernail.

I use XXKK1, XXKK6 and currently XXKL1..

KL1 gives me the best battery usage with similar strength to KK6..
