Hi guys, can I check the box highlighted in red is it spyware or malware? I don't installing any funny apps and the apps that I download are the same as per my previous Galaxy S2. My S2 did not receive this kind of notification too.

Hi Guys, can I know how are your GNex battery life? My on screen time can only last about 3 hrs as compare to 2 1/2 hrs on stock 4.0.2. Currently on AOKP B23, Franco Kernel 17.2, only have google contacts sync and whatsapp.

If that's with some music playing and calls, should be around 3hrs+

Lookout Push Ad Detector
Install this app from Market to detect if you have push ad on your phone, and which apps use it. Actually, it is mostly not the fault of the app, but the ads network they use that pushes this kind of annoying notification ads.

I dun play music on the phone at the moment, still using my ancient ipod. And also do not call much on the phone, but do surf net most of the time, is that the cause? My sceen is on auto brightness, off wifi, off GPS and off bluetooth.

One thing for sure is, after surfing for net like 5-10 mins, the back of the phone will get heated up. Is that also a possible cause for the low battery life?

I did managed to connect another notebook to nexus wifi but the connection is not very stable keep dropping.

For AirDroid, i need to plug in the USB cable ?

Thks.

no AirDroid is via wifi so u connect yr pc directly to the ip address shown on the app when u launch it, then enter the password and u'll see a nice looking interface on yr pc.

I woul like to fix the data mode at WCDMA only. However it will switch back to gsm/WCDMA after some time.

So I would have to set it again by entering *#*#4636#*#* which is very troublesome.

Anyone knows if there is an easier way? I have tried some widgets but it does not work. Thks
I am on Stock ROM yakyuxw ,Singapore Singtel set.
I set my phone to WCDMA only too, and the setting stick even after power cycling .
Nexus S with 4.0.3 has the debug setting(e.g WCDMA ONly) not sticking problem
Are you using stock ROM ?

Hi, on the same page where you set this WCDMA, can you let me know your SMSC number? I'm on Singtel as well and have difficulty sending SMS out once a while..I can receive SMS, MMS. I can also send out MMS but not SMS. Thanks.
