Expansys is ok. If you want it cheaper and have a friend in US, get directly from Google store.

damn! looks good! i guess stuff on the navbar is the next logical progression. next time maybe can embed stuff like the wifi, 2g/3g toggle all on the nav bar too..

but i do look forward to the swipe the navbar to wake the phone function that the one x has though..

Anyone send in your Nexus for warranty claims before? Just bought a used one from here, seller told me local set but he didnt have reciept nor warranty card. Phone doesn't have IDA sticker too... think I might have got scammed...

If there's no receipt I usually take it as no warranty, no matter what the seller says... after all, when it comes to claiming warranty it will become your problem.

Depends on what type of development you are looking for. Having AOSP support means the Nexus gets firmware updates faster, plus it's much easier for developers to add some additional features via coding (vs editing apks).

There won't be shortage of developers for One X and S3 though. Just that depending on source code availability, AOSP-based roms may have some issues. If you plan to use the firmware that comes with the phone, then this won't be a concern as there will still be mods based on these firmware.

Cons of Nexus include a relatively weak GPU (Most games run smoothly, but many live wallpapers lag) and no Micro-SD slot. The screen also has some kind of a linen texture effect at low brightness.

Side note: Tested a power-saving mode on a custom kernel which turns off one core, running apps and task switching are still smooth. Not much power savings though, but it was an interesting test nevertheless.

i'm not playing much game or use live wallpaper much.
i prefer a phone that has alot of custom roms to play with?

i feel one x and s3 specs are too good and under utilized..

on a side note. u tink recon price for nexus will drop when s3 launch?
should i get s3 and sell and buy nexus or get nexus directly?

price wise. currently for m1 it's 398 for nexus and 468 for one x.. hence i'm hesitant.. sigh..

That means I can't make any phone calls. I have to restart the phone and it would be fine again. I suspect it's an issue with the radio/baseband. Anyone has a solution?

Since you feel it's a baseband issue, why not just flash a new baseband? I'm using the latest one , UGLC1.

Definitely better than your situation, if you're losing network connection a few times a day. I have only lost connection twice so far over the last 2-3 weeks, both times I toggled airplane mode and got back my connection.
