Hi guys, I'm not very knowledgeable about firmwares but I can't help but be annoyed that here in Singapore we still cannot get 4.03 update let alone 4.04. I bought a nexus to receive the latest official updates of android as they are released but why don't they release it for us here? On a slightly random note, anyone interested in a SGP ultra hybrid case eclipse case? Selling for cheaper cuz I bought 2 colours preferred the other one. SPIGEN SGP Samsung Galaxy Nexus Case Ultra Hybrid Series whatsapp me at 91177949 to deal today okay =)

Galaxy Nexus Toolkit is the answer. Local sets here are on Samsung builds and not Google builds.

Nexus Auto Shutdown

Hi,

Can someone help me to test the following:
1) Plug in earphone to nexus
2) Play any song
3) Keep changing the FX equalizer eg Folk to Jazz to Rock

The above 3 steps will caused the nexus to shutdown. i have to hold on to the power button for quite sometime for it to power up and need to take off my earphone as during the restart there will be a loud pop sound.

However if you did not perform step 1 and continue with step 2 and 3, nothing happens.

My nexus is on stock OS.

Does anyone faced the same problem? Any solutions?

Using DSPManager on CyanogenMod. I don't have this issue.

It's a known issue in M5, tried all possible basebands and it still happens. Some basebands happens less often but it STILL happens. Reverted back to M4 and gonna wait for M6 :s22:

factory reset already, now it reboots every 10 seconds, even after factory reset or wipe data from stock recovery mode. Stock 4.0.2.

bring to samsung liao lor but don't tell em its export set since the phone is less than one year old hopefully they will take it in and fix it foc :)

Anyone knows roughly what is the cost of replacing motherboard on recent Samsung phones? So unlucky.. :( Won't be buying export set in future...

just upgraded to galaxy nexus from iPhone 4. And suffice to say that the nexus is much better than the iPhone thanks to ICS and the larger screen :)
funny thing is that I actually profited $90 from this upgrade because i sold the iPhone 4 for $610 and bought the nexus for $520.

guys any of you getting process.com.android.phone has stopped working ? I selected okay to close it and it still runs in the back draining all my cpu power and battery. its running on the milestone 3 rom. Some ppl at XDA said boot to recovery and fix permissions but that has not helped .. die die must reflash new ROM? :(
