Oh and since you don't know what is doing it manually, hope you brick your nexus since you probably won't know how to use adb and fastboot.

I was just helping out, who knows u don't know there is such link on XDA? Who knows, maybe you missed the link?

Regarding the thanks, its just basic courtesy. Its like "thanks, I would prefer to do it manually"

I used before XXKK6 and also XXLA2. Both gives me the same lousy signal (maybe cos I am on starhub )

Now I am hoping the XXLF1 will be better.

On another note, anyone having issues with WhatsApp not vibrating even though it's set to Default?

I can access the Google Play store with VPN and Market Enabler. But I cannot access the Google Play Books, Google Play Magazine or the Google Play TV app on my app drawer. I cannot launch those apps although they are listed as installed on the phone.

Installed but not in app drawer is frozen for most app.

They don't appear on the app list in the android settings, so there is no way to unfreeze or freeze those apps.

my friend in the US is waiting for me to say "yes" and then he'll pull the trigger on the GN. will read up on this thread first, but really, there doesnt seem to be any reason to say "no". USD349 is quite a nice price for this phone

Titanium backup can unfreeze apps like Magazines and Google Ears. But whether they work using your workarounds is unknown.

Just sideload the apks, they run fine but cannot use unless u got VPN. Maybe US credit card as well?
