Those who have used it have mostly stuck to it......even in the light of the latest and "bestest". :D

I am one of them :D. So funny how I don't even want to go back to HTC One X and Galaxy S3 after using my Nexus. Stock Android JellyBean is just that good.

Nexus still good meh? So many friends I know changed to Sony. Not sure if it's a better one.

oh cmon, nexus with stock jb wins any other phone in terms of speed. that was the whole point of jb and project butter.
Sony makes beautiful phones and screens, but don't you realize nowadays they always stick to the same design concept.
How does one differentiate the Xperia T,U,S,V apart? Haha.

+1 i was using an S2, was thinking of getting a S3, but tried a nexus and never gonna look to ANY other phones. Maybe only gonna be tempted by an Intel chip-based Android phone like the recently released Moto Razr i.

Unlocked bootloader, ease of modding, huge dev community and AOSP supported pretty much sealed the deal.

actually, i wouldn't say huge, but probably within the top 10 of all android phones. i for one know that s3 & s2 has a larger community than nexus.

Sadly, I find that S3 is smoother than Nexus even on ICS. Even more obvious when you navigate around when there are apps installing/updating.

The only advantage I can think of when it comes to custom roms CM10/AOKP vs non Nexus phones is that hardware features like TV out remain relatively intact. And the early releases are definitely more stable due to the code drops by Google themselves.

Truth be told, getting a bit sick and tired of flashing every single update that comes along.....a lot less flashing when it comes to Nexus cos less crap to deal with.

Just pull open the back cover of my N7, Asus removed 4 screws!:s31:

Anyway, nightlies are stable enough for use as daily driver, I only update if I see something interesting added.

Case by case basis lo, my classmate s3 abit laggy because of all the junk apps, my nexus also a little laggy because of all the dirty flashing:D

Of course, it's pointless to compare a clean setup to a fully bogged down setup. I used both, and it's plain to see the brute force quad core making things work better in most cases. :)

After playing with so many phones. Comparing stock to stock, day to day usage..I still find Google Stock phone is way better than others. It just simply works out of box without the stupid stability problem.

Unfortunately Google Phone is not selling well. Those OEM should just change their policy to very light touch on UI(Priority on stability/reliability) and just focus on adding value on delivering useful apps.

Nexus One- Wow...and bring me to Android !
Nexus S- so so on wow factor, weak hardware in relative comparison with others
Galaxy Nexus- Loving it...practical/reliable/simply just work ... not the fastest but deliver all that i wanted.

Nexus 7-Loving it...fast/stable/handy ..I have shutdown the rest of my tables as i am using them less and less

Google Phone could be a successful Business phone(Not fancy on gimmick features but always stable and have adequate power to deliver without fail.

So fast restock?
I got my last set white from M1 on 14/9/2012, before the new plan kicked in. Called the hotline also say no stock until I went NEX and the staff helped me check again and reserved the last one at Parkway.

Phew finally finished this 200+ pages thread, next to go the root thread.

Haven't used my set yet, only rooted and on stock rom, hopefully can get the customisation of screens up soon before using.
Have to say this phone very promising... :D
