Anyone experiencing this same problem? I am on Yakju and forced the update yesterday via the force close and clear data/cache method on Google Service Framework.

4.2 works great, but suddenly, I'm no longer getting notifications from Facebook or Twitter...

Anyone knows a fix or it's a common problem?:s11:

Hi Guys, ok I had to clear data and cache, then start the app again, that did the trick.

@Idiort try:

1. Go to settings/Apps/All/Google Services Framework, then clear data, clear cache, force stop the app.

2. Go back to settings/about phone/system updates

It will show 1/1/1970 I think, then hit "Check now"

It should show that your phone is ready for update....if not, repeat a few times, I think I did it like 5-6 times before I got the update to roll in.

Those who have updated to 4.2, do you guys experience critical bugs like random reboots or slow battery charging? Read about this from Android Police...

Nope, pretty stable here. But Pocket crashes while reading articles, not sure if it's due to 4.2

My guess is those people never do a hard reset.

Updates has always been a PITA for Android.

Ok, thanks. Like that must ask my friend to paste already since I can't paste by myself nicely without bubbles...

very easy one, the bubbles comes from dust, if you got lcd cleaner, use it on the microfibre cloth they provide you, once u clean the screen, immediately stick it, use 2 scotch tape like how those ah beng shop stick and pull up to realign. if suay suay got dust, they got a dust remove sticker to stick on the dust from inside n pull out the dust.

Anyway its really quiet easy, comes with 2 protector but the side are not 100% covered, means the protector is slightly smaller.
