Google maps cannot read street names

Anyone can get the Google map to read street names ?

My S6 can only say "turn left", "turn right", but not read out the street names during navigation. Saw in the forum that other users have the same problem, and tried their recommended fix but did not work.

I wonder if this is a Singapore issue. Maybe TTS cannot pronounce Singapore street names ?

Appreciate any advice !

Try Waze. Some of the voice options can say street names.
