Chrome has always been slow on all devices. Use a AOSP based browser, that's the smoothest and can also play back flash content.


Anyway the case just came into my mail today.

Initial impressions of the case is.... meh.

It looks ok on the front and the smart cover magnetic feature works.

Unfortunately it looks like they super glued the coloured soft pvc onto the hard plastic case that holds the N10. Definitely looks MIC on closer inspection.

It isn't terrible but definitely doesn't feel high quality so I suppose I can use this for the time being until the poetic slimline is available on amazon.

Oh surprisingly, this is the fastest shipment I have from my history of ebay purchases. Mine shipped last Friday, and since it's a normal package, the postman just chucked it into my mailbox yesterday. So 5 working days in all.


More impressions of the case:

I suppose I can live with the shoddy workmanship of the case since it's not too ugly and I found that the magnetic clamp has its pro and con.

When you fold up the case for use as a stand in landscape mode, the clamp will be hanging over the top and will cover the front facing camera. At least it doesn't hang over the screen, but nearly.

The good thing about the clamp is that it is flexible and can be bent backwards, so when you are using in hand, you fold back the front cover completely and you can fold the clamp backwards and it will magnetically clamp onto the cover so your cover won't be hanging in mid air. It's actually a pretty good method.

Great it would mean that I should be getting by next Friday then...
Using a modified Note 10.1 cover now and hope to get real cover soon.

Sold out coz it is a fantastic tablet....
It has just replaced my ipad3. Although the iPad mini is still my preferred tablet on the go.

Seriously how many HD games have you really tried on the N10? Besides your GTA and NFS?

I've been playing The Bard's Tale for over an hour, Samurai Vengeance for over 30 mins straight and I see no lag even though my N10 feels warm to the touch.

I also played other games like Angry Bird Star Wars HD, Broken Sword series and encounter no such problems.

I've been playing a whole wide genre of games on my N10 and I find no problems except for the occasional incompatibility with the N10's resolution.

Your lag is due to throttling and also because certain games are still not optimized for the N10.

Have you also tried playing on stock Android 4.2 or other custom roms besides Paranoidandroid?

If just because of a couple of games that makes you want to change then by all means do it and sell the tablet to someone else who can make more use of it.

And yeah ipad3 or 4 is definitely a better choice for you.

iPad is definitely better for gaming.

Does anyone have a set that doesn't have lousy QC quality??? Terribly disappointed since this is a Samsung product.
Can someone confirm if your set does not suffer from light bleeding issues and terrible horrible hissing sound if charging and listening to headphones?

Anyone who wants to purchase it I highly advice you stay away from it at the moment...

On earphones? If its hissing like from the speakers...its not normal, if its earphones its normal.

When i plug in my earphone is okay no weird sound. The hissing sound/high pitch sound only come when i just on my google nexus 10 when it boot up. And when i turn it off to charge i go click on lock/power button to check the battery whether it is charging the can hear the hissing sound/high pitch sound again :/ other than that no problems

I don't have a problem like this...mine is like a frequency jamming sound when I charge and listen to music

If that problem is not really a big issue, I suggest you keep it. Chances are Google will RMA you a set that is worse. If you read in XDA, they RMA the ones that were being rma-ed in.
