For mine, yesterday speedpost just registered the parcel, then this morning it was with the delivery courier and in the afternoon it was delivered. So I believe it should be quite fast once speedpost receives the parcel.

There is a new update for Nexus 7 2013, the build is now JSS15R, just got mine.

Nope wifi only. I believe nobody has the LTE version in SG yet.

Purchase date to actual deliver dates

Hi Friends,

Very biz the past few days, so didnt have the chance to post some pics & comments...

From the attached pics, the date from placing order to actual delivery, it is actually quite fast, not as long as you expected... (30 aug to 12 Sept)

The actual package came in a paper bubble bag via iparcel

I also confirm what a Bro commented earlier, the package is been OPENED!
my guess is done by SG Customs, to check what is inside

But no worries, they seal back the package, they didnt take anything inside, they didnt even remove the screen protection

Unboxing N7 II - First Impressions

After the opening the box, my very first impression is how well made N7 II is been made, (i never owned N7 previously) and I am comparing it to my Samsung Tab 2 (Amazon)

I switched on N7 II and prayed hard that there is no DEAD PIXEL and keep my fingers crossed ...

HENG AR! all pixels see be crystal sharp & CLEAR !

N7 II TRUE HD really very diff from Tab 2 screen ... you really have to see it to tell the difference ...really no fight..

I did a photo shoot of N7 II & Samsung Tab 2.

N7 II is a bit longer and shorter in width than Tab 2, in fact, i am able to put N7 II into my work pants, and jeans back pockets !!! (just to test)

on the apps front, N7 II is really "bare & NAKED"..except for the few google apps ..

which i live with ...

Jelly Bean 4.3 is freaking fast & smooth, really nice !

ONE KEY NOTE: apparently N7 II didnt really syn all the apps over ..
which i think is ok with me ... i dun want to reinstall some apps (esp Samsung bloatware)

so i just manually install the few apps which i think i will using

also, coming from Tab 2, there is Microsoft Internet Explorer, in N7 II, there is no such app or program. So I just install FIREFOX as a "standby" app

N7 II case

As written earlier, there is a shop at 100AM on the second floor that sells N7 II cases, so I decided to take a look. The shop does sell a lot of cases and you can take a look but unfortunately, they DO NOT HELP YOU apply the screen protection.

So I lan lan, have to go over to Adix82, but he ran out of screen protectors (till next shipment), so I purchase a ROCK CASE first. But least I know Adix82 will help me apply the screen protector...I have purchase several Phone & Tablet screen from him prior...good service

Personally I like the material of this ROCK CASE, but it has no "WAKE UP" function, so do take note, if you are considering this case.

so far using N7 II for two days, I really like it a lot and cant wait to fully explore more in this little tablet !

Yup. I am aware of the online option. But S$10 for TaQBin somehow put me off (there I said it) hehehe. Anyway.. we'll see

never mentioned, but the price really cannot make it, even with amazon's ridiculuos exchange rate, local price is still 20% more than amazon price.

i still cannot decide on 16 or 32Gb, but 32GB OOS on amazon liao, anyone got idea when will restock? and, will the local availability affect amazon free shipping to SG?
