I read that you need to perform the whole root process if you upgraded..

But how do i do it? Google online but all just tell how to root the tablet. But when I do it, the moment I go recovery mode it hang at the screen with google word.

just received mine 10 mins ago, let me try out later, I thought for android os default web browser the setting should be the same, am using note1 JB4.1.2.

edited: yes unable to set into Mobile display mode in Google chrome. log out / log in also cannot. anyone know how to set it in Google chrome?

Bro, try to install Opera Mini browser. I'm using this right now on Mobile version.

I use mine without a screen protector. So far so good. I don't mind a few scratches as I doubt I will ever sell this tablet in the coming months.

anyone has this wifi connection issue? I had this problem with nexus7 16gigs (2013) and M1 huawei white router. pls advise if you can solve this issue. thanks.

32gig nexus 7 stock non rooted

Device (apparently) randomly drops connection from WiFi. Manually have to attempt reconnect, but will not, unless router is unplugged and repowered.

No other "fix" will work except powering off router. This occurs on public and more unfortunately home router. Happens on wps connections and others with known passwords. Signal shows STRONG, but when attempting to connect (or reconnect) signal strength appears to drop to minimum (one bar). After failure to connect, signal jumps back to maximum, but connection goes back to "saved".

No action on device has shown to help (manual connect, "guest" connect, turn WiFi off/on, restart device, "forget" connection/reconnect). MUST RESTART ROUTER ONLY SEEMS TO HELP. while at home this is a frustrating experience (at least once per day),but renders WiFi useless when (trying) to use the device around town as I have to convince establishments to power off their router each time I want to connect.

New connections are not effected by connection failure. But once connection is terminated, re-connection is not possible.

Home connection has issue of randomly loosing connection/signal, but this so far seems because I'm not on other signals long enough for symptom to manifest itself.

You reset ur nexus and see if it still affects. Set ur router to use auyo setting. Do not connect other device on the router first. If issue still persist, send in to asus.

Where have u looked in SG? U dun exect us to look for u? At least if u did some homework we can share findings. Somemore this tablet quite new. Order from ebay?
