thinking of selling my nexus 7 first-gen to upgrade, any idea which local stores take it in guys? having a hard time finding for nexus 7 unlike ipad :/

Sad... Being looking around for a 8 inch+ tablet. After reading this and some youtube findings, i placed the order unwillingly. :s22:

Hi all expert amazon buyer,

I tried to buy a nexus 7 after reading this thread from amazon, but apparently not all seller ship to Singapore ( only found this out when nearing the end of the payin procedure). So how do we know whether or not they ship to Singapore?

And also are the dealers from amazon honest dealers?

Means you never read enough haha. Only sold by amazon can ship to sg

You can try VPost... it will ship the table to a US location and VPost will then ship back to Singapore. I've done it before for other items on Amazon that didn't ship to Singapore or didn't take my Singapore credit card. But shipping costs are higher via VPost although the tablet is really quite light so it may still be much cheaper than buying in Singapore.

Would advise against it as it is higher cost and more complications if there's something wrong. Just wait for Amazon to restock the Nexus 7 and buy from them. Remember that amazon comes with excellent CS support.

what ASUS number should I call to check on warranty status?

I feel that, not sure if it is after 4.4, mine recharge becomes very slow.
