i see nillkin is quite similar to the moko case lei lol......im still thinking if i should put a screen protector given the gorilla glass nexus 7 uses lol

actually i'm not sure if it's using gorilla glass..

it just shows that it's a Scratch resistant Corning® glass. Although Gorilla Glass is a registered trademark under Corning, i'm not sure if the Nexus 7 FHD is using the same technology *shrug*

But i think if using a leather flip, then probably won't need a screen protector.

i had issues with scratches on my previous "gorilla" phones.
Better to put on SP.
I did a customised one at SLS.

Urm... that's the same risk we're talking about

And you're just presuming it's $30 above "cost". I merely asked if that's considered profiteering, anyway you're profiteering as well, otherwise I wouldn't be confident enough to undercut you ;)

I just went to Opensurface to get my 32gb Nexus 7. Paid $419 + case + screen protector (both to be collected later). It's more pricey compared to ordering it yourself but I can't bear with the long waiting time haha. I was given the US pin to SG plug power adaptor. Service was great and they allowed me to open and test the set. Now, it's time to play with my new toy!

It's the one that has triangular fold and can become a stand. Something similar to the one for first gen Nexus 7. Comes in 9 different colours. Should be those from eBay.

Actually the general cost (can't be exact 'cos of xchange rates, use of visa/mastercard, etc) is already all out here in this thread. If you can get it cheaper than the usual Play Store/AMZ/BHP etc ->CGW/BDL etc -> SGP, then it's great for you. :)

Play Store/AMZ, etc : USD$229 for 16GB, USD$269 for 16GB
CGW (based on past postings): ~USD$15 (for 1 set, combine = tio GST a.k.a., no illegal stuff)

As usual, it's always the exchange rates that is the confusing part. Every day it fluctuates, different card merchants differ also. so that's probably what everyone should factor in.

My definition of cost is exactly what is reflected in the credit card statements, based on the assumption of the route taken. Anything above that is profit. But as I highlighted, everyone has different definitions of "cost" and "profit".

So probably we should agree to disagree, though I don't see how i'm profiteering in this case. People get at that price, i get at that price for myself, i get at that price and pass to ppl, no diff imho, unless we are talking about the nitty gritty details of credit card rebates.. :S

But of course, if one wants to save the hassle or willing to pay more to have it quick, feel free to pay a premium (search from HWZ for WTS).

just wondering what is the charger that is provided with the nexus 7.
need to get the US to SG converter?

if im using the note2, can just use the charger to charge nexus 7?
