google play store just updated the specs of Nexus 7 2nd gen, no LTE for EU

The Nexus 7 (2013) may not feature LTE support in Europe

Considering it's built by Asus, I'm inclined to trust Asus's specifications at this time:

Asus: Nexus 7 (2013) Specifications
4G:
LTE:
700/800/850/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 *4

*4:
NA/JP SKU: 2100(1), 1900(2), 1800(3), AWS 2100/1700(4), 850(5), 700(13), 700(17)
EU/KR/AU/Others SKU: 2100(1), 1900(2), 1800(3), AWS 2100/1700(4), 850(5), 2600(7), 800(20)

They may choose to delay/cancel that particular SKU if they want to..

Some good news for those who are or will be on JB 4.3

Android 4.3 Update Brings TRIM to All Nexus Devices

One of the common complaints late in the life of the original Nexus 7 was slow storage I/O performance, leading to an inconsistent user experience. After a fresh flash, the Nexus 7 was speedy and performant, but after months of installing applications and using the tablet, things began slowing down. This was a friction point that many hoped would be fixed in the new Nexus 7 (2013) model, which it was. There’s even more to the story though, it turns out Google has fixed that storage I/O aging problem on all Nexus devices with the Android 4.3 update.

There is quite a number of issues stated on XDA.

But I dunno how prevalent those issues affect the current N7 on sale.

Apparently, there is at least 2 production batch on sale now.

Known issues
Touchscreen touch issues
Display - Dead Pixels, Dust under screen

Nice catch. Finally, Asus and Google's technical specifications are in sync. Based on this set of specifications,

US LTE Model: Can get LTE for all 3 local telcos on 1800mhz band.
Europe LTE Model: Can get LTE for Singtel/M1 on 1800/2600mhz bands and Starhub on 1800mhz band, which should translate to better coverage for Singtel/M1?

Good. Makes the EU version useful again. :D

One important thing to consider is resale value for the LTE version I guess - but it also depends on the buyer being smart enough to know the difference between EU and US models.
