Someday, somehow, somewhere, someone might actually be able to hack telephony into the new Nexus 7. But as of NOW, no, the tablet does not support voice calls. SMS maybe. This device has might have slightly higher chances compared to the Nexus 7 3G 1st Gen due to it's similarity to the N4, but that's a big IF.

I would imagine even if someone manages to hack it, any official updates would disable the function, because the device is not rated to to do voice calls, which would involve Google paying extra to those FCC etc or risk running afoul of the law.

somethings weird happened to my brand new nexus 7. ota twice then when i tried to download an app called buffer the whole tablet hang for 1-2 mins then after that when i was downloading other apps there is a force close on google.process blah blah...how come har?

That is a completely horrendous assumption.

You shouldn't classify stable under Nexus, Exynos, TI OMAP, SnapDragon, Tegra.

Heck, nexus or exynos shouldn't even be in that classification, depdending which point you're looking from.

Every device is stable the way the manufacturer SELLS it.

It's what you do after that causes it to be stable or not.

I for one can tell you no matter how great a device is, it can still be unstable.

Kernels are the main cause of stability :)

I am just comparing it on custom CM roms. Definitely nexus devices will have better stability as compared to exynos devices . We are talking about the stability of ParanoidAndroid ROM here, not the stock.

Comparing PA ROM on an exynos device like SGS3 or SGN2 and a Nexus device, which is more stable? Definitely the nexus device.
